If you had to describe Peru in just three words, what would they be?

Inspire, explore, connect

What inspires you or gets you going every day?

In this crazy world, it makes me happy to believe that through what we do, we are bringing a bit of good, happiness, understanding, and lasting memories to our travelers, partners, and team.

Which is your absolute favorite place to visit in Peru, and why?

I lived in the Sacred Valley for a while and fell in love with it. It has the perfect balance. It's a place where you can enjoy a bit of everything - from the perfect simplicity of a lazy afternoon with a nice view, all the way to crazy adventures, high-end stays, or culinary experiences.

How many languages do you speak, and which is your favorite to use?

I speak Spanish, English, and just enough German to keep a conversation going for 15 minutes or so. My favorite is mixing up the three of them when I speak with my German wife. :)

What do you love most about being part of the Peruvian Soul team?

For me, Peruvian Soul is an oasis of passion, inspiration, and simply really good, honest values. It's so refreshing to work in a company where you really feel like you are all connected and working together for a common cause we all believe in. You'll notice you asked about "team" and I answered as "company." This is intentional - in Peruvian Soul, the company and team are exactly the same thing. Peruvian Soul IS its people; it's us that make it what it is, our values and passion.

What’s one piece of advice you’d share with someone planning their first trip to Peru?

Slow down and try to truly connect with the country. Peru is a country that can inspire you at the deepest levels. In our fast-paced lives nowadays, we sometimes lose perspective. Slow down in the Peruvian Andes, and everything will fall back into place. Sit on top of an Inca ruin while looking at the valley below... suddenly, all the trivialities and complexities of the modern world will feel less significant, and you'll simply look at your friends or family traveling with you, and you'll probably just smile... simple happiness... Peru can do that to you.
